Thank you, Zinnia. Daghang salamat!
Editor's Note: This note was penned by Willie N. Lagdameo in appreciation of and as a glowing tribute to Zinnia B. Giron for making the 2008 Jubilee Edition of the U.S.T. Medicine Class'67 Newsletter a beautiful reality, overcoming in the process, tremendous obstacles through sheer tenacity, fortitude and unselfish desire to serve the common good - she made great things happen in keeping with the spirit of Class'67 and more.

When one is motivated from the goodness of her heart to follow the dictates of her responsibility.

That is a Masterpiece!

When one serves the interests of her friends and colleagues by going the “extra mile” in her work.

That is a Masterpiece!

When one takes pains in recoding events…places…people in such an orderly, factual and true to life sequence.

That is a Masterpiece!

When one lightens the mood with her poetry and brightens the environment with her prose.

That is a Masterpiece!

When one stimulates interesting articles from contributors, vivid portraits and scenic pictures from photographers.

That is a Masterpiece!

When one re-creates history by reminiscences and re-invents people by reaching out to them.

That is a Masterpiece!

When one instills filial loyalty to country, school and roots.

That is a Masterpiece!

When one succumbs to the realization that the goodness in every person reflects God’s Providence.

That is a Masterpiece!

Zinnia…the Class’67 40th Jubilee Special Issue embodies all the above – your creation. . .

ZINNIA, YOU ARE TRULY THE MASTERPIECE!
